#shenrc #rcvideos #ripsawrctank "Awesome mods Steve! I keep meaning to pull my Ripsaw back out to mod the battery bay for more forward weight bias. I like your idea with the foam piece!
Well done brother, looking forward to more! "
Great tips Steve. Another great video my man. Always good content here! Gotta be honest, I was hoping for something like a motor upgrade hahaha. Keep up the great work dude!
Great mod for cooling. I wondered how to wire those capacitors up.
I found a fix for the lean back on tack off. remove rear track roller, access the spring in shock keep spring in keeper, place fuel line tubing over the spring and reassemble, no more back flips. Also cut out battery box and remove interior will give more room for bigger battery.
"Great video Steve. Sadly my tank has stopped working with the Receiver.
I got a new receiver but that didn't connect either - put new batteries in of course. Batteries appear good in the tank as the lights turn on.
Any idea what the problem might be? "
i never thought of using goop to mount electronics!Great mods man,
Excellent, really a very good idea this fan to cool the electronics, great work .
Steve that's a real nice upgrade buddy
Nice mods Steve good little tank
Yep, I'm getting one after watching your vids on it.... I already have everything I need if I just get the cheaper kit version
Nice Steve mine didn¡¯t have that divider in the battery tray. I think my xl5¡¯s will be ok without a fan lol
Congratz to Red Black's AXE RC for winning the Reptile grips!
Very impressed by your vid.
Thanks Brother. I can't believe I won. Your awesome man. Thanks again Steve
Nice improvements. =)
Have you thought of upgrading the tracks to the metal ones should help with the weight to keep the front end from rearing up as much
But do electronics really need cooling? Anybody measured temps while operating?
Anyone knows how to bind the transmitter with new esc? My esc got wet so i have to get a new one. Any help will be appreciated
So that whole board is the receiver? Cause I'd like to put elrs or crossfire for more range thru the woods and snow
whoops... I'd tapped the fan into the body LED plug, the fan doesn't pull much current (0.08A?) and its already tied into the power switch. power to the LED's is probably 3.5 or 4 volts would get the fan active enough. the battery forward will definitely help it climb steeper.
Awesome channel!
Nice tip Steve
I have not took mine out of the box yet but the box seems heavy
What is the battery connector called the style of it thanks
Mine will turn but doesn¡¯t go forward or backwards? Any suggestions?
