whats the basis for your LCS? I've been hunting up specs or plans for an LCS for ages and can't find anything, but this is easily the best model I've ever seen of one

Some M80's or cherry bombs tossed in the water would have made for an exciting display! Of course strategically placed so as to not cause damage, but the water display would be perfect.

How powerful is the motor on that landing craft?
That's cool. My grandfather served on an LCT (landing craft tank) in the royal navy in WW2. He was there on D-day, but I'm not sure which ship or beach. I can't ask him, as he's no longer with us.

I saw a clip of the Liberty Ship Jeremiah O'Brien in the last frames of the video and wanted to mention my dad used to go up to SF and volunteer in some capacity back in the mid 2000s, maybe up to around 2008. He then became too weak to continue due to cancer, to his knowledge he was the only WWII Merchant Marine veteran on board at the time. At the start of WWII, he tried to enlist in another service or two but since he was only 15 at the time they wouldn't take him. His solution was to lie about his age when he applied for the Merchant Marines (as I'm sure many others did at the time) and that worked. He served until the end of the war. I recall a book he had about the Merchant Marines and their activity during WWII and I was amazed at the number of combat related casualties the Merchant Marines sustained, in fact a higher percentage relative to the other services overall. I also remember how proud he was to finally achieve veterans status and he had the document related to this on display in his living room.

That was really cool, I would love to get into RC boating and stuff but It is hard to find Russian WW2 Ships and for a good price, I can't really spend 4,000 on a 1/144 scale boat.
