" I have one of these "Drift Tanks". It does ride like a boat. I added a couple ounces of weight in the front and that helps keep the front end down. It doesn't climb worth a darn, it's pretty difficult to steer with any accuracy, and the tracks come off pretty easily if you get a small rock in the track. For a driver I used a 1/12th scale "Rosie The Riveter" and had to take her legs off to make her fit in there. Overall though it's got decent detail, and is worth the $60 just to have something a little different. I've had mine awhile and actually kind of surprised they're still selling them considering it's Chinese so you know they didn't pay license to Howe & Howe Technologies to reproduce the Ripsaw.
It¡¯s a ton of fun! I put 3oz of wheel weights at the nose to help keep the nose down and get a bit more traction surface. The metal track¡¯s I¡¯ve seen can chew up the plastic wheels I would stay away from them myself.

They are awesome I liked it so much bought the orange eachine version!! Don't use metal tracks they rip up all the road wheels and put to much stress on the drive train. cut that center slot out of the battery try and shift the battery all the way forward put foam behind it and it will help a bit with the front coming up. guy's add weight to the front but I found it's kind of fun when the front pops up. Nice video.

You were right the first time. That's looks like two 18650 batteries just like in my vape lol. I was thinking about taking some of my old ones and wrapping them into a small pack to run my wi ch or lights

I found a fix for the lean back on tack off. remove rear track roller, access the spring in shock keep spring in keeper, place fuel line tubing over the spring and reassemble, no more back flips. Also cut out battery box and remove interior will give more room for bigger battery.
