This is just a quick video of our friend Winston's cool M1 Abrams RC Tank. Its a Giant special edition RC tank that he found at Walmart for only $80. It looks pretty cool and scale. I had fun making the intro of this video in which it looks almost like a real tank.

My big tank was made by a company called "21st Century Toys".

While they are out of business now, you can still buy their products online as old stock. The cool part of that company is the design firm is in St Louis.

"@DiehardRCaddicts Actually, if you watch one of Vstanks vids on their Tiger tank 1:72 scale, it pulls off some pretty amazing feats when going over terrain. Problem with the, lets say, 1:6th scale tanks is they cost a TON.

I had this same Tank from Walmart for a couple days, before I returned it. I can't remember why I did that, but I do remember strapping my kid and his baby walker to the top of it and driving him around.

" You can get those "small" gel cell batteries at marine stores if you have a west marine or a boat store of any kind nearby. I think the 12v batteries are about $80 though...but indestructable (literally can fire a bullet through one) and for the capacity, they don't weigh much.

@zombiebreach the turret isnt short at all its pretty perfect its because theres nothing in the little cage behind it, my and my friend saw 40 abrams on a train a few days ago, I was surprised to see the back of the turret isnt actually there on some of the tanks just racks...on some of them its like a container and on others its just fully extended I dunno whats up with that..we have a video of it if u want to see that

I had one of those. It was cool but made out of the weakest most brittle plastic in the world. After about 3 runs it ended up breaking the bogey wheels off and going on a small bluff in my back yard and used for bb gun target practice for a few years..

@titanicxl3 It's 1/9 scaled M1A2 MBT. A really BIG one! Cheap but potentially upgradable.

" i had that tank. its battery pack set on fire and burned a hole in the bottom and exploded... it's expensive too... mine was from a different brand and mine has aussie colours (:3 im aussie!) for me it costed $130 :( i got it all back when i went to the store and showed them what happened... now im happy with my rc plane :D

" That little Sherman looks like my old Radio Shack model. I converted it to NiCad power and it ran great but the rubber?tracks kept breaking and they finally stopped making the replacements.
is that a 1/6 scale? If so I need a source for parts my r/s drive motor went out and I can't find a replacement part any ideas?
funny i never noticed the front lower wheel has a bigger gap than the spacing of the following wheels. it took a Walmart model to show me that.
