"Nice mount :)
You should probably use different dampeners, maybe more soft ones, the ones you used look very hard.
It's indeed a tricky issue with our RC cars to isolate correctly the vibrations on the camera. I always found hard mount close to the CG of the car works pretty well.
Thanks for sharing and happy midweek"
Thanks Dutch for the product testing. It appears that that little dampeners are way to stiff and might maybe only work for heavier products. I have seen other people cut wedges out of the dampeners to make it softer. Normally works well, but then again this is a sold product which should work out of the box.
Nice video :) I think the biggest problem might be that the rubber grommets are too stif. They did not seem to move much when you moved it around. There is only so much you can do though. Best thing would be re pave the road ;P
"The thing that works best for me as far as keeping the Mobius from vibrating too much on a car is by wrapping it in soft foam and then taping the ""bundled"" camera to the car...
It's not perfect but for me that's what seems to be working best."
Good test-agree not so great on the car-that is tough to do. On the mini quad or plane I'd like to see! Nice work!
nice try dutch would love it if you would try it on a quad to see how it works definitely not good on a rally car have fun RCing
"good demonstration... yes the vibration is there but i think it's pretty good picture considering! I believe this mount will help most in the minor vibrations caused by a quad or heli to take some of the jello effect out. I think best still would to do a video with no damping and with this damping mount on this RC. Its like driving down the road with your car and hoping the water in you cup wouldn't swish around. You can do things to make it better but i don't think you can remove it altogether. For 5 bucks i think this thing is a win still. I have yet to try it on my RCs but I will do my own testing to.

cheers again great video as always! thanks for sharing! Good to see better weather for you too! ;-)"
So I wonder what it would be like on a trail truck? Slower not as bumpy (fast).... thanks
It doesnt do good on a Quad either... Its the design how they have the rubbers on an angle, might as well had been a solid piece. not worth the money you can do better with Fishtank air tubing.
good test
When are we going to see the p40 in flight?
Sean Connery?
