Online social commentary (media commentary):

We flew in cold weather and rain many times in Southern California when I lived there only 10 miles from the San Onofre Nuclear Reactors. a few years ago as you will see here. We made our own transmitter bags to protect the transmitters in the rain. Well as history seems to always re-invent itself, it was nice to see the Turnigy Extreme weather transmitter bags. Eric (JoeHandsome99) sent Jeff and I a couple of these bags for Christmas presents. They are a very handy item for our type of cold weather flying. Here we test them out with a little history too. It is great to see them come on the scene again with many improvements over others, and especially our plastic bags. Thanks very kindly for the presents Eric. Best regards, thanks for watching, and subscribing.

"Thank you my friend for that awesome intro, excellent to see the beginnings and how things how come a long ways...
At the beginning I thought the top cover plastic was going to get in the middle of the sticks, but works good so far. One of the few videos that shows the weather transmitter cover in action.

Nice review!"
Dave I love your videos and as always Thanks for serving my Beloved Country !
Great review! I'm flying in the SF East Bay... I had no idea you were originally from this area! WAM just closed its doors, and distributed its remaining funds among the member groups. Concord Model Engineers (my local club) got a bit, dedicated to upgrading the flying circle they maintain. And I noticed a picture of you in uniform... thanks for your service!
"Dave, have you seen the heater that can be put in that bag? They run on a 2-cell :)
Great video!"
I have that bag too. I live in the Yukon and fly foamies in the winter. Sometimes condensation can build inside the bag so be sure to open it up when you get back in to air it out. Also, if you hand launch, you gotta be real quick to get your hand back in that bag, trust me :)
Dave, can you please make a electrically heated Rc controller that warms up the parts you hold onto. :D
"ahh! I just bought this bag from hk :) still waiting for it, as I also ordered the tyre warmers (AKA transmitter bag heater) along with it and it is, of course, on back-order :)

all the best to you Mr Herbert! :)

Dave I love your videos and as always Thanks for seving my Beloved Country !
definitely a good idea to have such a TX bag in winter, I've been looking into this one for a while on Hobbyking website and may still get one in future, extra heat packs will also be? a very good addition to this item.
Yes i found the tx bag a lot of use when flying of the slopes with my glider in the north of scotland ,as most times it is very cold .mostly just above freezing {+_+}
I'd like to see how you guys installed skis on the T28 there... What did you do with the front wheel?
i love this glove as well i have 3 and i aso gought the turnigy heater for the glove and that is the bomb as it adds alot of heat inside the glove for the very cold northern canada winters here. i play year round with warm hands
"Dave,
Is that a home made catapult in one of those pictures before your flight? If so, what was it's purpose?"
There is a European company that has been selling these bags for years. I remember sending you a link to them a year or two ago but seeing as how you get thousands of messages you may has missed it. Nice bag, nice flying.
wow Dave, those pictures were worth a thousand words for sure... Nice show!
Hey Dave can you do more reviews on hobbyking/turnigy produce because most people today including experence pilots are going with cheap turnigy produces.
I think the elastic on top is to attach a battery for the heater addon
u r the ultimate rc pilot. im just starting out on my pz t28
"how about hand launching a plane with that.
it would be pretty hard :)"
i would throw in some instant heat packs......extra toasty!!! lol great vid!!!
