Thanks for that, I recently got the 1580 or 580 full metal excavator. Wow very impressed for the $... The 1/16th stuff is not bad if you upgrade the TX & RX too a 10 channel DSM. They're quality is increasing and make nice candidates for weathering and cheap upgrades. It's the scale which is my only personal gripe on the military trucks. I'm in the process of rebuilding a better work station. Once that is done I'll be re-vamping my off road layout too better suit some CC-01's that have limited ability's. Have you seen the new ECX Barrage Gen II? I have the Gen 1 DIY version... and Scaler Fab makes parts it. All I changed which made a big difference was installed some HR 72mm oil shocks made for the smaller Tempest, low-profile Savox servo, ECX aluminum rear lock-outs, SSD scale locking hubs and Proline Sumo body.... which there's TONS of 3D printed stuff for that body on Shapeways. From exterior too interior making it full badged as a Samurai .
