Online social commentary (media commentary):

A video of the initial testing of my self-designed RC tank's drive train.

The gears are CNC cut Nylon and motor mounts are CNC cut HDPE.

Power system is two 5 Ah lithium polymer batteries run in parallel to power two 45 amp speed controllers. The motors are 1100 kv brushless inrunners.

Thanks to Bstarr119065 for CNC cutting the gears and motor mounts.

Newer videos after significant design updates to the drivetrain, motors, controllers, and tracks:

"Great job bro Can you explain how did you do the programming? Thanks a lot
" There's now three 5Ah Lipos paralleled rather than two to power upgraded 150 Amp speed controllers rather than the small 45 Amp controllers that I was running for this initial test. The motors and drive train are all the same still. If you have't seen them yet, check out the videos I posted on my channel of the finished vehicle.
Also if you're planning on doing some some serious off-road stuff you should build a transmission based on high torque.
You need to be using metal gears with brushless motors. And need to stabilize those spur gears.
you should add lube to the gears to get ride of the noise and cut down or wear and tear
How did you wire the motors to the esc bud
That is the nylon gears making that sound. The setup in this video is quite outdated. The drive train has been completely redone with torquier motors and a much quieter chain drive.
it sounds like you need a new motor
Nice set up fucked up gearing
Shitty gears the...the motors should be mounted on the same piece of metal as the motors.....also the gear teeth are too big. Finally the gears are highly off center and are wobbly and they don't even have bearing! Pathetic!
