I found a fix for the lean back on tack off. remove rear track roller, access the spring in shock keep spring in keeper, place fuel line tubing over the spring and reassemble, no more back flips. Also cut out battery box and remove interior will give more room for bigger battery.
That thing looks fun. For the tank drivetrain its 1 motor and 1 transmission per track.

"tank steering = differential throttle, normally you have two throttle sticks, one for each track. those are little 130 motors, but they look to be plenty of power for it.
