The trend that WarGaming has in World of Tanks Console continues with the introduction of the Type 59D. The first Era 3 Medium Premium. It is nothing like the other Era 3 premiums in WoT Console (TCM AGS & MBT 70) The Type 59D is a traditional medium that plays far better than you'd expect. With great DPM and gun accuracy, you'll be pulling huge damage games with massive silver earning. Only downside, it's VERY expensive.

It's a very good tank at range and I suspect the price for these is high to keep era3 being ruined . WG have been very carefull with era3 so far needing players to earn their way or play the premiums with high skill levels .
After buying the MBT 70 when it first came out ive been extremely hesitant on buying a era 3 premium. And im still not sure about this tank the skin looks amazing but again after buying the MBT 70 im just not sure about era 3 prems especially the pricing of era 3 prems
Good review of a mediocre tank that is out performed by any of the mbt tech tree tanks. Good for support yes, but if it doesn't have any comrades to support it its paper armor will fail it. Also, if it's part of a swarm, that soon to be dead enemy will be targeting Type 59D to get those last few hits in because the weak armor, slower speed and low hp of the Type 59D make it the best target in a losing situation. I'll spend my money on the WZ-122 and wait for the severely discounted or made free by a pass or o.p.
I made over 20 million silver in 2days with this tank..average 500k per game and its shooting on the move is great not to mention the pen is better than most of the heavy at this tier
