Just got together this E-flite EC-1500 twin 1.5m BNF Basic and wanted to have a little fun. It has the cargo door in the back, and so I HAD to drop something from the airplane. ;) Found this mini RC tank on Amazon (https://amzn.to/2RaI5Zf) and the rest is history, haha! The goal was to drop it in flight and then have the tank drive towards my ground camera. Well, 3rd time was the charm! Risky adding that weight to the rear, especially letting it float free in the fuselage. I'm assuming you didn't check the CG.
