Genuine amphibian RC conversion in 1/35 scale of WW2 U.S. LVT(A)5 Alligator tank. Comments are welcome albeit the author apologizes for unable to answer any question due to Youtube's new rule on non-google plus members. Great model! Very nicely done. I was an amtracker from 1980-1984 so I find your RC model exceptionally cool. Wish I had one.
"Hey mate thanks for the inspiration, I realised a 30 year old dream after watching your LVT, and went ahead and made my own from the same kit, retro fitted to LVT (A) 4 and in Iwo Jima colours but 100% your idea, keep the videos coming

EXCELLENT JOB !!!
where can I get one, and also is it available in 1/16 scale? nice vid b.i.w.
excellent work.
Yes, used mainly in the ww2 Pacific theatre.
Thanks for such a tempting offer. However, my inventive nature tends to block me from doing the same thing twice. :)
"Yes it is a WW II Vehicle used mainly by the Marine in the Pacific.
The Turret is ""not"" from an M5 Stuart, the turret is mainly an M8 SP 75mm,
which was on a ""highly"" modified Stuart chassis. "
wow...love it
these were aluminum tanks designed to float and provide our marines light armour on the beaches. at the time of there uses the combat life was good the armour could take a good hit from infantry.
But the real question is, will it blend?
